Account & Subscription

Check your access link, account credentials and subscription settings. Link updates and password changes are separate checks.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password through the free-start link on this site, then save your credentials securely. Use a unique password, and never share your login details with anyone helping troubleshoot an issue. After creating your account, check your subscription status in the dashboard, then follow the getting-started guide to find a client and subscription. Being able to log in does not mean a plan is active; your dashboard shows whether you can use the service.

Where can I find my subscription link and client app?

Sign in to the dashboard and check your subscription status in the account overview. Then open the client downloads section to get the app and subscription options for your platform. VPNHL supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux; the dashboard determines which downloads are available to your account. Installers and public subscription links are not provided on marketing pages. Your subscription link contains account access credentials. Import it only into your own client—never post it publicly or submit it to an unfamiliar online conversion tool.

How do I update my subscription, and when should I import it again?

If the route list looks outdated or some routes are missing, find your current subscription profile in the client, update the subscription and check the result. Once the update succeeds, select a route again; there is no need to delete the existing profile first. If the subscription link in the dashboard has changed, copy the current link and import it again. Remove the old profile only after confirming it no longer works, to avoid connecting through an outdated route. There is no need to set an arbitrary update schedule. Follow the dashboard and client instructions when routes or settings change, or when prompted to update.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?

VPNHL supports unlimited devices, so changing devices alone does not mean you need another plan. Sign in to the same account on the new device, get the client for that platform from the dashboard, import your current subscription and check the connection. Also check your subscription status and remaining data; using multiple devices does not change your plan’s data allowance. When you stop using an old device, remove saved subscription profiles and account credentials. Before handing a device to someone else, sign out and delete related data.

What should I do if my subscription link is exposed?

Stop sharing it and delete any messages you can. Check your subscription status and data usage. If the dashboard offers a subscription reset option, follow the prompts to replace the link, then import it again in each of your clients. If you cannot find that option, request help through a dashboard ticket. Changing your account password and invalidating an old subscription link are separate actions; do not assume one accomplishes the other. When submitting a ticket, describe how the link was exposed, but do not include the full link in screenshots or public attachments.

Can I recover my password by email?

Accounts do not require an email address, so do not assume email recovery is available. First check your password manager, saved browser credentials and any devices where you are still signed in. Then see whether the dashboard offers a recovery option for your account. If you still cannot regain access, use the help option shown in the dashboard and provide your username, order records and a description of the issue for verification. Never submit your password or full subscription link, or share payment credentials with anyone you do not know. Recovery options and verification depend on the dashboard’s actual process.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Separate local network issues, client settings and target app behavior. After each change, retest the same task.

What should I check if the client will not connect at all?

Temporarily turn off the proxy and check that your local network can reach everyday websites. If it cannot, troubleshoot the network first. Then check your device’s date and time, subscription status and remaining data. Update your subscription and make sure you have selected an active route. Quit any other proxy tools that are controlling network traffic, then try again. If it still fails, compare another region or route type. Note the exact client error; repeatedly reinstalling the app or changing several settings at once makes it harder to identify the cause.

Connected, but websites will not load. What should I do?

A connected status only means the client has established a connection; it does not confirm that a particular website is reachable. Try a few different sites to see whether all websites fail or only one service. If all fail, check whether the system proxy is enabled, whether the client’s current mode covers your browser, and whether DNS settings conflict. If only one service fails, check its regional requirements and the error shown on the page. Change one setting at a time and retest the same site. For a fuller troubleshooting process, see the troubleshooting guide.

Why does my browser use the proxy, but a particular app does not?

Your browser and app may use different network routes. Check whether the client rules send the app or its domain directly, then confirm whether the app follows the system proxy. Some apps require the client’s tunnel mode to route their traffic; check the instructions for your platform. After making a change, fully quit and reopen the app, then test again. Do not delete all your rules just for one app, and do not assume changing regions will fix a routing issue. If the problem continues, open a ticket with the app name, client mode and exact error.

What should I do if my mobile connection drops when the app goes into the background?

First identify whether the disconnection happens when you lock the screen, switch networks or open another app. Check whether your system restricts background activity or battery settings pause network activity, then adjust the necessary permissions according to your platform’s instructions and test again. When switching from Wi-Fi to a mobile network, the existing connection may need to be re-established. Wait for the client status to recover before checking the target service. There is no need to disable every background restriction; keep the settings the client needs, and note what triggers the disconnection for further troubleshooting.

Does a failed subscription update mean my plan has expired?

A failed subscription update does not necessarily mean your plan has expired. Sign in to the dashboard and check your subscription status, then make sure you copied the complete current link without missing parameters or extra spaces. Check the client error to distinguish a failed network request from a configuration parsing error. For a request failure, check your local network and request path. For a parsing error, confirm that your client supports the configuration format provided by the dashboard. Do not share your link for others to test. If your dashboard shows an active subscription but updates keep failing, submit the client name and a redacted error message.

What information should I include when contacting support or submitting a ticket?

Submit your issue through the ticket option in the dashboard. Include your operating system, client name, selected region and route type, plus roughly when the problem occurred and what happened. Mention whether all websites fail, whether another route helps and what you have already checked to reduce follow-up questions. Keep the error message visible in screenshots, but hide your password, full subscription link and sensitive payment details. Check logs for access credentials before sharing them; do not upload a full configuration file or unchecked logs.

Speed & Routes

Check the target region first, then compare route types. Assess connectivity, speed and the target service’s access rules separately.

How many countries and routes does VPNHL cover?

VPNHL’s international routes cover 120+ countries and 210+ routes. When choosing a region, first check which regions the target service supports, then select from your current subscription list in the client. The routes page shows available regions and types; your updated subscription list determines what you can actually select. Coverage does not mean every website is accessible from every region, nor does it guarantee a particular connection speed. Visit the routes page to compare regions and route types, then verify access to your target service on the route you choose.

How should I choose between IEPL, relay and direct routes?

These terms describe different ways a connection is routed. IEPL refers to a dedicated private link; relay routes pass through an intermediate node, while direct routes use a more direct international path. The labels are not a speed ranking. Your experience also depends on your local network, the target service and the time of day. Compare route types using the same device, local network and destination, and note whether the site loads, the connection stays up and the service works smoothly. Do not judge by the route label alone; choose based on tests that reflect how you use the service.

How can I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak hours?

Pause local downloads, cloud sync and other network-heavy tasks, then retest the same destination to see whether performance improves. Check your Wi-Fi signal and network status, and try another local network for comparison if needed. If just one route slows down noticeably at peak times, try another route type in the same region, then compare a different region. Keep testing conditions consistent after each change so a change in video quality is not mistaken for a route difference. If the problem continues, submit a ticket with the time, region, route type and target service.

How can I test speed without being misled by a single result?

Start by defining the issue: slow page loads, video buffering, slow downloads or interruptions in an app. Compare routes using the same device, local network and test destination. Pause background transfers first, and record normal and slow periods separately. Speed test results can be useful for comparison, but they do not replace testing the apps you actually use; the destination server can also affect download speeds. See the speed testing guide for methods and metric explanations. A single result is not a long-term performance guarantee.

Why might an AI service or streaming app fail even when websites work in the same region?

A target service may check more than network connectivity. It may also look at your exit region, account region, session status and its own access rules. First confirm the service is available in your selected region and read the error to distinguish a regional restriction, an account limitation or a general network timeout. Keep the exit region consistent, then close and reopen the app to test again. If needed, follow the service’s own instructions for managing your session. A route’s region label does not guarantee access. The AI and Streaming guides offer troubleshooting tips, but the target service is the final test.

Can I keep using the same route, and when should I switch?

If your current route reliably handles your everyday tasks, you can keep using it; there is no need to switch frequently to chase a single speed test result. Keeping the same exit region can help maintain sessions in signed-in AI tools and streaming apps. If you experience repeated connection failures, a regional error from the target service or slowdowns, update your subscription and compare routes. Note your original route before switching, then retest the same task. If every route has the same issue, check your local network, client rules and account status instead of continuing to switch regions at random.

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plans and data packages use different billing models. Check your dashboard order before purchasing, upgrading or requesting a refund.

How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day you activate your plan, not at the start of each calendar month. Check your dashboard for the current status. Compare plans based on what you do and how much data you use, not the number of devices. Video streaming, file transfers and everyday browsing use data differently, so base your choice on your actual usage. See the plans page for full pricing and billing details.

What’s the difference between a data package and a monthly plan?

Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB · ¥358 for 1000GB · ¥658 for 3000GB. Data lasts until it is used and never expires. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, while a data package draws down from its remaining balance; they do not share the same billing cycle. Before choosing, consider whether you use the service regularly and can make consistent use of a monthly allowance, then check the plan details in your dashboard. “Never expires” describes the data package’s validity, not unlimited data. Do not assume plans can be combined; check the dashboard for the rules that apply to your account.

How is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated, and what happens to my remaining time?

The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, review the destination plan and order confirmation in your dashboard. Check the price, data allowance and resulting subscription status before proceeding. Do not calculate the bill by subtracting full monthly prices or treat the difference as bonus data. If the confirmation does not match your expectations, save a record of the page and ask through a ticket before continuing. After the upgrade, check the account overview and update your client subscription if needed to load the current configuration.

Which payment methods are supported, and what if my status does not change after payment?

VPNHL accepts Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Before paying, check the plan, amount and payment method in your dashboard order, and follow the instructions on the order page. Do not use payment details forwarded by strangers. If your subscription status does not change after payment, check the order and payment records for any unfinished steps. Do not pay again right away, as that can make verification more difficult. If the status still does not update, submit your order details and redacted payment record through a dashboard ticket. Payment processing is subject to order verification.

How long is the refund period, and how do I request a refund?

VPNHL offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, read the refund policy, sign in to the dashboard and submit a ticket with your request and relevant order details. You do not need to present a connection issue as a reason. Check the ticket response and provide any information requested for verification. The refund policy and ticket review determine eligibility and handling; no processing time or refund method is guaranteed here. Redact unrelated sensitive details from payment records, and never submit your account password.

Do I need to create a new account if I run out of data or my subscription status looks wrong?

You do not need to create a new account just because you have run out of data or your subscription status looks wrong. In your current account overview, check your remaining data, active plan and order status to distinguish an exhausted allowance from an inactive subscription or outdated client configuration. Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date. Decide whether to change plans based on your dashboard and actual needs. If an order is complete but your account status still does not match, keep the order record and submit a ticket. A new account can make the original order harder to verify and will not resolve subscription issues in your current account.
